The inaugural CGWC Children’s Festival will take place on Feb. 28, during Dental Health Month. from 9 a.m. to noon. at the clubhouse located, 1001 E. Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables.
The festival is being organized to help further the importance of dental health for children and also to highlight the club’s May Van Sickle Children’s Dental Clinic. There will be a variety of activities where children can experience and explore fire safety, dental hygiene, financial literacy, conservation and art. A workshop on finances and budgeting will be offered for parents as well
The Woman’s Club is partnering with the Coral Gables Fire Department, Venetian Pool Aquatic Club, AmTrust Bank, and St. Brendan’s High School among other community organizations and schools in making this a successful festival.
All children and parents in the Miami-Dade community are invited to attend this free festival. The first 50 children to arrive will receive a special gift courtesy of AmTrust Bank.
Refreshments will be served. Bring your family and enjoy a morning filled with educational and fun activities.
