Yinnet Lamas is the Nurse Manager of the Surgical Step-down Unit at Coral Gables Hospital. Her career in nursing has translated into 18 years of healthcare experience that has taken her through a variety of specialty departments and leading to her passion with the surgical services department. Yinnet is responsible for managing the staff and patients on the post- surgical setting; Yinnet is a member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.
At the start of the COVID pandemic, she helped support other unit leaders through this rough time at the hospital.
During her spare time, she enjoys dancing, music, as well as spending time with family and friends.
