Baptist Health Foundation has recruited Beth Rosenstein, general manager of Bloomingdale’s at The Falls, as the chair of the sixth annual Pineapple Sauté and Sip Host Committee.
Guests at the interactive dinner, which will take place Saturday, May 4, 6:30 p.m., at the JW Marriott Marquis, will cook alongside Chef Norman Van Aken, “considered South Florida’s most gifted chef” by The New York Times. Funds raised will benefit Baptist Health Breast Cancer CareCoach and Genetic Testing Programs.
“Chef Van Aken has the expert vision to bring South Florida’s cuisine to life, and will be an excellent compliment to the 2013 Pineapple Sauté and Sip,” Rosenstein said. “Guests will be part of all the magic that goes into creating the most one-of-akind dishes, while helping and supporting Baptist Health breast cancer patients overcome their struggles.”
Rosenstein is a prominent fashion and community leader with a legacy of raising much-needed funds for organizations such as the Sandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundation, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Baptist Health South Florida Foundation and Feeding South Florida among many others.

Rosenstein’s efforts now go to helping the Baptist Health Breast Cancer CareCoach and Genetic Testing Programs, which provide compassionate support and individualized attention to breast cancer patients and their families during and after treatment. The center’s genetic testing program also educates patients as to whether they carry genes linked to an increased breast cancer risk.
