Interventional cardiologist Dr. Vitalie Crudu is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at North Shore Medical Center in Miami where he leads staff in performing minimally-invasive cardiology tests and procedures to provide diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Crudu specializes in coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, valvular heart disease, hypertension and cardiomyopathies as well as primary and secondary prevention. Dr. Crudu is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, National Board of Echocardiography, Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He joined the North Shore Medical Center staff in 2013. Dr. Crudu has been practicing medicine since 2003. For his education and training, Dr. Crudu completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Brown University, a cardiology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center, residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, internship at Municipal Hospital “Sfântful Arhanghel Mihail” and graduated medical school from the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”. He is fluent in English Russian and Romanian.
