Bandhwari Fashion Show

This is a philanthropic fashion show to promote items handmade by the women in rural India, from a village named Bandhwari. All of our products are made from recycled Sari materials, and is sustainably and ethically made. There will be a catered dinner of Indian food included, as well as performances and the show itself. Tickets are $25 if you pay in advance, and $35 at the door.
The goal of our organization, the Bandhwari Women’s Project, is to achieve financial independence for a group of women in the rural village of Bandhwari, India. This village used to be a farming village, but their land was taken as Delhi expanded. They no longer have enough work opportunities to support themselves and their families, except for the clothing, bags, and other items that we purchase from them.
