Miami-Dade Parks to host Summer Jobs Fair at Tamiami Park Fairgrounds on May 12-13

Join the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department (Parks Department) for the Summer Jobs Fair taking place May 12-13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Tamiami Park Fairgrounds (E. Darwin Fuchs Pavilion) 10901 SW 24 Street, Miami.  The Parks Department is hiring summer camp counselors (Seasonal Program Assistants and Recreation Leaders) and lifeguards for its award-winning Fit2Play Summer Camp!

Interested applicants, ages 17 and older, can apply in person for these open positions and more. Candidates will be interviewed on-site. All positions require the successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check. Lifeguard applicants must also successfully complete the appropriate skills exercise and a two-point, high-risk physical examination.
