Palmer Trinity School (PTS) has announced multiple recognitions secured by its middle school and upper school performing arts students guided by the dedicated leadership of Theater director Celia Potter at the recent Florida Thespians Junior and Senior Thespian District Festivals.

“Our students continue to elevate the standard of performing arts at Palmer Trinity School,” said Patrick Roberts, head of school. “Their accomplishments at the District Festivals are a testament not only to their talent but to their resilience, teamwork, and passion for their craft. I am immensely proud of each participant and grateful to our dedicated faculty who guide and inspire them every day.”

Junior Thespian wins — New to the competition, this year’s Middle School theater program troupe included six enthusiastic sixth-graders. Together they earned: 4 Excellents and 2 Superiors.

Senior Thespian wins — The Upper School troupe, representing a wide range of experience from first-time competitors to veteran seniors, delivered a remarkable performance at District 8, one of the largest and most competitive districts in the state.

They brought home: 11 Superiors, 2 Excellents and 3 Top Honors (reflecting perfect scores).

Top Honors were awarded to:
Duet Musical: Amanda Orgánvides (10th) and Matias Zichy (12th);
Duet Musical: Ana-Sofia Benítez-Santiago (10th) and Edgard Arroyo (11th), and
Solo Musical: Julia Da Costa (12th).

Additionally, Palmer Trinity’s original production, In Her Prime, was selected as a District 8 Representative One Act for the Florida State Thespian Festival in Tampa, a prestigious honor recognizing exceptional creativity and collaboration.

Developed entirely on campus, it earned multiple special recognitions: Superior Rating, Outstanding Original Script, Outstanding Lighting Design and Outstanding Stage Manager.

The One Act production was brought to life by 24 students, the largest One Act ensemble in Palmer Trinity history.
