Cutler Bay’s State of the Town Address is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m., in the Town Hall Council Chambers located at 10720 Caribbean Blvd. There will be a reception immediately following the address.

Mayor Tim Meerbott is excited about it being a more normal event this time, after a difficult previous year.

“We’re very pleased to host our State of the Town event in-person this year, after hosting it virtually last year due to the pandemic,” Mayor Meerbott said. “We look forward to gathering with our residents, friends and community partners to celebrate all we have accomplished this year and all the bright possibilities that lie ahead.”

Town staff advises that seating is limited, so anyone wishing to attend in person should RSVP by Dec. 1, by emailing rsvp@cutlerbay-fl.gov or by calling 305-234-4262 during normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holidays).

Every year since incorporation the Town of Cutler Bay has hosted a State of the Town Address. During this annual event, the mayor shares highlights with the town’s residents, businesses owners and partners on the many efforts, initiatives and accomplishments the town made over the past year, as well as providing insights on what to expect in the future.

The event also is an opportunity for attendees to meet and speak with the mayor and members of the town council as well as with their fellow community members.

The theme of this year’s event is “Honoring Our Past, Envisioning Our Future.”
