CAC-Florida Medical Centers, celebrating 50 years of caring for the Miami community, hosted the grand opening event for its new “one place,” multi-specialty medical center at 15516 SW 88 St. in Kendall on Saturday, Nov. 1.
More than 1,000 Miami-area seniors, community and business leaders attended the grand opening. In addition to an official ribbon cutting, the grand opening included tours of the new 14,779-square-foot facility, as well as live entertainment and refreshments.
The new center houses 15 primary care exam rooms and is fully equipped for ancillary and diagnostic services. In addition to four full-time primary care physicians, 11 specialists treat patients for 16 different specialty conditions on site, including cardiology, dermatology, neurology gastroenterology and ophthalmology. The center also includes a Pharmacy and Optical and Dental services.
At the CAC Kendall center, patients can visit the Wellness & Activities center to participate in a wide range of social, health and lifestyle classes and activities, including on-site exercise classes through the Silver Sneakers Fitness Program, the nation’s leading exercise program for older adults.
