Christmas Wonderland returning to Tropical Park, Nov. 13-Jan. 4
Visit with Santa Claus at Santa’s Village.

The holiday season in South Florida begins with the return of Christmas Wonderland at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 St. (Bird Road), running from Thursday, Nov. 13, through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.

This year’s edition further establishes the attraction’s place as Miami’s Favorite Holiday Tradition and the Largest Holiday Attraction in the United States.

Spanning more than 14 acres, Christmas Wonderland transforms Tropical Park into a family-centered holiday destination filled with themed experiences, seasonal live performances, spectacular lights, unlimited carnival rides, and a large variety of favorite local food trucks and vendors, including carnival treats. The event continues to evolve, blending traditional holiday nostalgia with distinctly Miami cultural elements to create a one-of-a-kind experience for residents and visitors alike.

“Each year, our team works to elevate the production and bring new experiences that reflect the spirit of Miami,” said Tony Albelo, president of Loud And Live. “Christmas Wonderland has quickly become a cherished South Florida tradition, and we’re proud to welcome not only those who call this region home but also visitors who travel from far and wide to experience the magic of Christmas in the tropics.”

SIX IMMERSIVE HOLIDAY WORLDS
Guests enter through The Wonder Portal, an LED archway that leads to the centerpiece attraction, Tinsel Trail, a half-mile of synchronized lighting displays, installations, and picture-perfect memories that connect six themed holiday worlds:

• HoliDade, a tribute to Miami-Dade County’s culture and neighborhoods, featuring local-inspired holiday installations created by award-winning designers.

• Town Square, a traditional Main Street setting that feels straight out of a classic holiday movie with a charming tree farm, vintage truck displays, and nostalgic décor.

• Sweet Street Presented By Amanda Demanda, transforms into a vibrant landscape of candy canes, gingerbread, and holiday confections. The themed area features whimsical décor and family-friendly photo moments, with on-site safety reminders and holiday tips from this year’s presenting sponsor, Amanda Demanda, underscoring the firm’s commitment to community well-being during the season.

• Toy Town, where oversized toys and the Elf Brigade entertain children with rides like the Kids’ Wheel and a Letters to Santa station.

• Arctic Delight, entered through a wall of snow, offers a simulated winter experience and
Nelson’s Nightcap Bar, a festive cocktail lover’s dream.

• Santa’s Village, home to the reindeer stables, elf workshops, and Santa’s photo studio, a must for families and first-time visitors.

Once each hour, the entire Tinsel Trail unites for Light Up the Night, a breathtaking, synchronized light and music spectacular celebrating all six worlds and bringing everyone together for an unforgettable shared moment.

RIDES, SHOWS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS
Beyond the trail, guests can explore The Magnificent Midway — a full-scale carnival featuring more than 50 rides, including three roller coasters and Eye in the Sky, the largest traveling ferris wheel in North America, soaring over 150 feet high with panoramic views of the park. From speed-defying thrills to family-friendly classics, every ride is included in paid admission.

Completing the midway experience is a vibrant mix of traditional carnival favorites, South Florida’s top food trucks, and local vendors, along with themed bars serving tasty beverages and this year’s official beer partner, Cervecería La Tropical, featuring seasonal brews available throughout the park.

At the heart of the midway, the IG’loo 360-Dome surrounds guests in a 3D-mapped immersive visual experience.

Returning this season is “Home for the Holidays” adoption partnership with Miami-Dade Animal Services which continues to connect pets with new families.

New entertainment for 2025 includes:
• Firework Fridays, will debut as a new weekly feature at Christmas Wonderland, with a fireworks display every Friday at 10 p.m. The addition introduces a recurring end-of-week finale, offering guests a festive close to their Friday evening visit and marking the start of each weekend’s holiday programming.

• Santa’s Sky Shot, where Santa’s stunt double launches across the midway in a live “human cannonball” performance.

• Wheel of Wonder, an acrobatic act featuring “Lucky the Elf,” who runs, skips, and balances atop a spinning wheel high above the crowd.

• Sleigh and Sway Spectacular, an aerial performance led by Santa’s reindeer keeper, combining acrobatics and theatrical storytelling.

• Christmas Ball of Thrills, returning by demand, features motorcyclists racing inside a steel sphere painted as a giant ornament.

• World’s Largest Noche Buena brings Miami’s beloved holiday traditions, from lechón on the caja china to coquito at abuela’s house to life on a grand scale. It’s a citywide celebration of music, flavor, and community that invites everyone to experience the true spirit of Miami’s holidays.

• NYE At Nine brings families together for an early New Year’s celebration featuring a 9 p.m. countdown and fireworks show. Guests can enjoy the full park experience and festive fun, all before it’s time to put down the little ones.

• Live shows take place nightly with additional weekend performances.
