This fall Zoo Miami invites guests to experience a wonderful new program, “A Walk on the Wild Side with Ron Magill,” an intimate and enlightening presentation series inside Critter Connection. Included with Zoo Miami admission, the remaining presentations will take place on Nov. 15 and Dec. 20 at 2 p.m.
This exclusive, limited-seating event combines beautiful wildlife photography, captivating storytelling, and live animal appearances, all led by Zoo Miami’s own renowned wildlife expert, Ron Magill. Guests will journey with Ron as he shares captivating images and stories that showcase nature’s most misunderstood creatures.
The October launch theme, “Don’t be Afraid!” spotlighted snakes, tarantulas, owls, and vultures — giving audiences an up-close look at animals rarely celebrated but essential to our ecosystems. Each show concludes with a special opportunity for photos with Ron, making this a must-see event for wildlife enthusiasts.
In addition to this new series, Zoo Miami’s Animal Ambassador Team will continue offering animal closeup experiences in Critter Connection. They also are preparing to debut “Holiday Claws,” a festive new wildlife show this holiday season during Zoo Lights nights in the Sami Amphitheater from Nov. 21 to Dec. 30.
“Meet our Animal Ambassadors — and their wild cousins — in a way that will change the way you see the natural world,” Magill said.
Seating for “A Walk on the Wild Side with Ron Magill” is extremely limited, and presentations are expected to fill up quickly. Arrive early so you can make it on time.
