The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announced the return of Miami Entertainment Months. The two-month-long program runs from October 1 through November 30 and showcases Greater Miami and Miami Beach’s dynamic and diverse entertainment scene through exclusive deals, ticket packages and more. From music and theater performances to outdoor attractions and live entertainment, there is something for everyone. Spend a night immersed in the dramatic performances at the opera, listen to beautiful classical music at the orchestra or take advantage of the incredible line-up of shows and plays this Fall season.

  • EXPERIENCE TOP PERFORMANCES: Take advantage of deals on tickets to more than nine shows at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts including, Rachmaninoff led by Michael Tilson Thomas on October 22, Miami City Ballet: Romeo & Juliet on October 23 and Disney Princess the Concert on November 12.  In addition, Miami New Drama is offering 10% off tickets to ELIÁN, which tells the true story of a young Cuban boy that was found clinging to life on the Florida coast in 1999.

Just in time for the lauded program, gather among the swaying palm trees wrapped in gentle ocean breezes for the Ocean Drive Association’s free weekly music series on the lawn. Each Sunday, this open-air performance features local musicians from jazz to acapella to string quartets, including Biscayne String Quartet, Jazz With Shelley Berg and Ken Peplowski, and the Gold Dust Lounge.  Also, during Entertainment Months, the GMCVB invites everyone to attend the Miami Book Fair from November 13 to 20 in Downtown Miami at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus. This annual event draws more than 500 authors and literary luminaries to Miami for lectures, readings, panel discussions and a street fair.

Miami Entertainment Months is one of seven programs within the Miami Temptations Program established by the GMCVB. The series of themed months are designed to cultivate awareness and appreciation of the many assets within the vibrant destination by curating special programming and discounts for visitors and locals to explore.
