V&E Restaurant Group was awarded the Key to the City of Miami Beach by Commissioner Michael Gongora in recognition of serving South Beach for 25 years through restaurants like Café Americano Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue as well as Cortadito Coffee House, Havana 1957 and Paperfish.
After the ceremony, the restaurant group commemorated this momentous occasion at Café Americano Ocean Beach’s Terrazza outdoor patio on the second floor, which overlooks Ocean Drive with breathtaking oceanfront views. Cocktail party attendees enjoyed lightly passed bites of some of Café Americano’s most popular dishes including Ceviche, Cuban Sandwiches, Quesadillas and Hamburger Sliders, as well as complimentary specialty cocktails and champagne to toast this special occasion.
