Celebrate women and listen to speakers discuss special topics on the terrace of W Miami’s signature restaurant, ADDiKT Modern Kitchen
W Miami, the urban oasis centrally located in Miami’s trendy Brickell District, announces the launch of W Women Empowerment Month with weekly conversations every Wednesday throughout March. Each week will feature a trending topic that covers women interests such as parenting skills, technology, financial tips, wellness, and more, that will be followed by networking and an extended happy hour at the outdoor terrace of the hotel’s signature restaurant, ADDiKT Modern Kitchen. All events are free and open to anyone who registers via Eventbrite.
“This month is so much more than celebrating women, it is empowering one another, enriching yourself, and encouraging growth”, said Arianna Calcaterra, director of marketing at W Miami. “These events provide opportunities for like-minded women to get together and learn from each other’s shared experiences. The speakers will be able to moderate these important conversations as well as share their valuable expert insights and advice on a wide-range of topics.”

Women and Parenting Communication Skills
This week, Shalini Melwani, Certified Instructor of Gordon Parenting Parent Effective Training Classes, an ADHD Parent Coach and Parent Advocate, will be chatting about positive parenting communication skills.
She is responsible for teaching the Parent Effective Training classes, providing workshops and one on one support. Giving parents positive communication skills and support in bringing up their children as well as helping parents advocate through to the school system.
The presentation will be complemented by sipping on tasty cocktails and listen to key parenting insights from a female’s perspective at the rooftop terrace of W Miami’s signature restaurant, ADDiKT.
