Throughout his thirty-nine year tenure at Zoo Miami, Ron Magill has personally raised nearly $1.5 million toward the Conservation Endowment Fund in his name. Now Frames USA & Art Gallery wants to give Mr. Magill another platform to raise awareness and funds for wildlife conservation with a photography exhibition titled “Portraits of the African Wild” opening on Thursday, May 9th, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Frames USA’s Adam Brand, gallery owner, enthusiastically states “it’s magnificent to host such an influential ambassador to the animal kingdom. Ron Magill has certainly established his mark in wildlife photography and the public will be thrilled.”
The event is free with an RSVP on Eventbrite at ronmagill.eventbrite.com. There is a free gift to attendees who reserve a spot. Over thirty fascinating photographs will be on full display and sold at this three-week exhibition running until May 31st. Portions of the proceeds go to the Ron Magill Conservation Endowment Fund.
Mr. Magill will be at the 26-year establishment for opening night to give a brief lecture on his Conservation Endowment and how zoos still play a vital role in saving wildlife as well as educating the general public.
