Plan your visit and explore Pinecrest Gardens at night when it transforms into a winter wonderland dotted by thousands of twinkling lights, through and around the whimsical botanical landscape. This year the Garden is expanding sections of sparkling lights and holiday-themed maze and adding a holiday market featuring locally made gift items. On select nights, enjoy magical Story Time with Mrs. Claus, Santa Claus special appearances, and holiday concert performances in the historic Banyan Bowl. Signature Garden cocktails and food available for purchase. Parking is free. Dogs are not permitted during this event.

Event takes place rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable.

Thursday, December 22: Homestead-Miami Mariachi Conservatory
Friday, December 23: “Noche de Paz” A musical journey that blends culture, language, and the holiday spirit into a truly unforgettable night. Guests will recognize classics like “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and “Feliz Navidad” and Dance Steps Miami.

ENVIRONMENTAL ARTS CONTEST

Calling all students! One of the world’s greatest treasures is right in our back yard! Did you know, the Florida Everglades is roughly 1.5 million acres? That’s one of the largest wetlands in the world! This year’s contest is all about the Everglades! This contest prompts students to create a piece of artwork based on the Everglades and enter the contest. Draw, paint, sketch, photograph & inspire. Contest is open to all students in grades 4 to 12 in Miami-Dade County. Call for entries closes Monday, January 9. Contest judging takes place Thursday, January 12 through Tuesday, January 17. Award Ceremony & Art Gallery Opening happens on Thursday, January 19 at 6:30 p.m. All student work will be on view January 21 and 22, during the Art Festival weekend. Cash prizes awarded to winners.
