This Mother’s Day, South Miami’s Kitchen 57 is going all out to celebrate the women who do it all — with a full weekend of festive flavors, fizzy toasts, and feel-good vibes right in the heart of South Miami.
From Thursday, May 8 through Sunday, May 11, Kitchen 57 — South Miami’s cozy, chef-driven neighborhood favorite — is hosting a multi-day celebration designed to pamper moms, mother figures, and everyone who loves a good brunch with flair.
“We built Kitchen 57 to be a place where people celebrate life together,” says Chef Michael Altman, a longtime local culinary favorite and the restaurant’s executive chef and owner. “Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to go big — and go bubbly. We can’t wait to host all the incredible moms in our community.”
Ladies’ Night Meets Mom’s Night Out
The festivities kick off on Thursday, May 8 with an extended edition of Kitchen 57’s popular Ladies’ Night. From 4–7 p.m., guests enjoy complimentary bubbly — and for moms, the sparkle keeps flowing from 7–9 p.m. It’s the perfect prelude to Sunday’s signature event.
Day Brunch on the Patio
On Sunday, May 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Kitchen 57 invites families to treat Mom to a celebratory brunch experience filled with live tropical music by Ray Rangel (12–3 p.m.), craveable dishes, and a few brand-new surprises.
The star of the show? The new Tableside Bubbly Cart, offering guests a custom Champagne moment with fresh garnishes and your choice of sparkling sips — $15 per glass for the boozy version, $10 for non-alcoholic.
Guests can also indulge in a build-your-own Bloody Mary Bar loaded with savory fixings (think bacon, cheese, salami, hot sauces, and more) and bottomless mimosa carafes for $35 (up to 2 hours).
The brunch menu delivers something for every craving, from Crab Cake Benedict with whipped hollandaise to over-the-top Nutella French Toast and oversized slices of carrot cake worthy of any sweet tooth.
A Gathering Place for Every Generation
Since opening earlier this year, Kitchen 57 has quickly become South Miami’s go-to gathering spot, offering high-quality comfort food, creative cocktails, and a laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant is helmed by Chef Altman, who previously led Town Kitchen and Bar in the same location, and brings more than three decades of culinary passion to the table.
This Mother’s Day, skip the flowers and give Mom what she really wants: great food, great drinks, and quality time with the ones she loves.
