Lourdes M. Rey-Wilson has joined First National Bank of South Miami as Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources.
Prior to FNBSM, Ms. Rey-Wilson was Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources at TOTALBANK where she was directly responsible for all Human Resources operations. She was Vice President of Human Resources for Union Planters Bank before joining TOTALBANK in 2000.
She was recognized by South Florida Business and Wealth magazine with its Excellence in Human Resources Award in 2017. In 2016 and 2017, she was named Power Leader in Human Resources by the South Florida Business Journal.
Since 2004, she has been a member of Board of Directors at the Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre. From 2003-2011, she was a member of the Board of Governors of the Greater Miami Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management. She was an Advisory Board
Member of Florida International University’s Alvah Chapman School of Business Masters in HR Management Program from 2004-2013.
She graduated with cum laude honors from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education. She has a Certificate in Banking from the Florida School of Banking (Florida Bankers Association) at the University of Florida.
