The City of Sunny Isles Beach is launching a new text and voice call notification service to help residents stay informed about important city news and updates.
Residents can receive timely city updates on their phones – from emergency and traffic alerts to park and facility closures, events, and commission meeting changes.
Users can opt in for text notifications by simply texting “JOIN” to 754.219.5300. To sign up for voice call notifications, call 754.219.5300 and press “1.”
With hurricane season now underway, this new service is the perfect tool to keep residents up-to-date in the event of a storm by providing information on hurricane warnings, flood advisories, sandbag distributions, and more.
