One of Florida’s favorite senior events, the Ms. Senior Florida Pageant, is returning virtually on Sunday, December 12th at 3pm on YouTube. After winning the Ms. Senior Florida Pageant in 2016, Rose Tydus was determined to give this pageant a permanent home in Miami-Dade County. Tydus is now the CEO of the Ms. Senior Florida Pageant and has produced five years of beautiful shows for a full-house audience. Last year was the first year the Pageant went virtual, and it was so successful that they decided to hold it virtually again this year.
Tydus said, “We’re looking forward again this year to honor the seniors of this great state of Florida and encourage all seniors everywhere to live healthy and productive lives–leaving behind a legacy that exudes wisdom, strength and courage. We hope you join us!”
Contestants are now being sought for this year’s Pageant. Contestants must be 60 years of age or older; must express their lifestyle through evening gown presentation, talent, philosophy of life and interview with the judges. The registration deadline is September 13, 2021 and contestant applications can be found on msseniorflorida.com
