In South Florida, we rarely plan outdoor events…there’s always the unpredictable weather to contend with. But the Serena Hilton Aventura, with its beautiful scenic view from their 6th floor pool terrace, was just too tempting to pass up! When the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce partnered with hotel developer Bernardo Rieber and Director of Sales & Marketing Conrado de Frankenberg to plan their official ribbon-cutting ceremony, the pool terrace was most definitely the premier site, with the backup of their Cielo Restaurant & Lounge inside in case of inclement weather.
The evening weather turned out to be spectacular, as was the view of much of South Florida from the terrace deck. Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman and Vice Mayor Rachel Friedland were joined by former Commissioners Howard Weinberg, Gladys Mezrahi and Michael Stern to cut the red ribbon. Mayor Weisman said, “Bernardo Ribero is the kind of community partner that every city wishes they had. From the day I met him, he said he wanted to be actively involved in the City Of Aventura and he has. He is a true community partner who is helping us envision the future of our city.”
Rieber added, “We are so excited to have brought Aventura its first boutique hotel. The SERENA Hotel Aventura is a complete new experience for travelers coming to the area. Our hotel offers guests an elevated experience but with an unpretentious feel. Additionally, understating our city’s dynamics, we have built spacious suites with kitchens that have the feel of a small apartment for those guests looking for an extended stay or the comfort of more space.”
The Serena Hotel Aventura is part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and offers 100 spacious guestrooms, 30 of which are suites outfitted with separate living areas, kitchenettes, dining tables and large bathrooms. Standard guestrooms also offer seating areas with sofas along with workdesks. The Cielo Restaurant & Lounge is located on the 6th floor (Don’t miss the famous Carnegie Deli cheesecake!) and Phillipe’s Cafe proudly serves Carnegie Deli Meats and Lavazza coffee.
