For a second holiday season, Miami- Dade County Commissioner Sally A. Heyman, District 4, working with Bell’s Bicycle and Repair in North Miami Beach, provided retrofitted bikes for children. Winston Towers 700 in Sunny Isles Beach again donated several truckloads of used bikes that Commissioner Heyman and Miami-Dade Police Intracoastal Station delivered to Bell’s Bicycle for pre-holiday repair and refurbishing.Commissioner Heyman collaborated with area schools and police departments having them select children to receive the bicycles and locks. The Commissioner and her staff played elves delivering the bicycles.
