Almost 130 professional women recently met at LEVEL THREE Venue attached to the Aventura Mall for a great program produced by Gladys Mezrahi, Founder & CEO of Power of the Heels. “Disruptive Monarchy” keynote speaker and author Katie Nicholl spoke about the fascination with the Royal Family and inside stories, relating stories of the Queen and how her handbag is her biggest asset, and how she uses it to communicate her wishes to her staff. In addition to being the Royal Correspondent for Vanity Fair and The Mail on Sunday, Nicholl is also a noted tv reporter for Entertainment Tonight, CBC, Today Channel 9, BBC, Sky News and Good Morning, Britain.
Mezrahi noted, “What are the lessons from the women behind the palace walls? We learned about the women in power and their struggle in leadership. We were inspired and motivated by the challenges they faced in a country where the palace symbolizes power and the monarchy symbolizes stability, and for women in leadership, we face the same challenges here.”
