Ke-uH at Acqualina Resort & Residences has undergone a significant redesign, masterfully blending the authenticity of Japanese aesthetics with contemporary sophistication and American elegance. The restaurant renovation, led by Italian design group Cristiano Gatto Design, has transformed the space into a serene yet sophisticated dining environment.
Ke-uH’s large windows introduce bright, natural light, highlighting the tranquil setting ideal for a gourmet breakfast. As night falls, the ambiance shifts to a more intimate setting, with soft, dimmable lighting that enhances the dining experience, making it perfect for peaceful dinners or social gatherings.
The redesign introduces elements such as vibrant red drapes, which add warmth and a touch of traditional Japanese color symbolism to the space. Each table is designed to balance privacy with openness, fostering a versatile dining experience suitable for various occasions. The innovative lighting concept allows for adjustable light settings, ensuring the ambiance can be tailored to match the time of day or the mood of an event.
Adding to the ambiance is a strategically placed Bonsai tree in the main dining room, embodying tranquility and meticulous attention to detail—hallmarks of both the restaurant’s cuisine and its design philosophy. The lounge area has been reimagined as a romantic, secluded oasis, with drapery that provides exclusivity and a soft, piano bar-like atmosphere that preserves privacy while inviting relaxation.
What does remain the same is the chefs’ dedication to showcasing personal recipes, making everything from the ponzu sauce to aioli sauce in house. Plates are tapas-style and meant to be shared. In addition to sushi with a twist and surprise hits like the salmon pizza, dive into baby back ribs, sliders, pork belly, along with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
The new Ke-uH is an experience engaging all senses with its stunning design and exceptional cuisine, reflecting Acqualina’s dedication to providing an unmatched luxury dining experience.
Open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5:30pm to 10pm and Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 11pm. For reservations call 305.918.6888 or email sunny.isles@keuhrestaurant.com.
