Palmer Trinity School recently announced that four of its students have been selected as finalists of the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Students Nicholas Alvarez, John Malloy, Noah Pirani, and A.J. Stoner were chosen from among some 1.6 million entrants for being among the highest scoring students of the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) who met program entry requirements. The national academic competition has been recognizing students and awarding scholarships since 1955.
“Congratulations to Nicholas, John, Noah and A.J. for achieving the great honor of being recognized as finalists of the coveted National Merit Scholarship Awards. We are very proud to have you representing Palmer Trinity School,” said Patrick Roberts, head of school.
Merit Scholarship award winners across the country will be selected and notified through mid-June. Students Noah Pirani and A.J. Stoner have been accepted and plan to attend Brown University. Nicholas Alvarez and John Malloy are currently undecided.
