Some people collect baseballs. And some people collect autographs. Dimitry Shaposhnikov, CEO of three technology companies, is collecting U.S. Patents for his innovative technology apps. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is an agency in the U.S. Department of Commerce that issues patents to inventors and businesses for their inventions, and trademark registration for product and intellectual property identification. Their mission is to foster innovation, competitiveness and economic growth, domestically and abroad, by providing high quality and timely examination of patent and trademark applications, guiding domestic and international intellectual property (IP) policy, and delivering IP information and education worldwide.
Dimitry currently holds three U. S. Patents for creating original technology apps and working on creating more apps for consideration by the USPTO. The three apps are for his innovative technology platforms for top-down communications among groups, providing instant connections to some or all of the group. The three U.S. Patents he currently has are for FrandMe, FrandMe Connect and FrandMe Law Enforcement, each one targeted to a specific arena. The first app, FrandMe, was created in 2018, and provided simultaneous website and mobile app creation method and system. He then created the other apps, FrandMe Alert, FrandMe Connect and FrandMe Law Enforcement, and in 2021 he received two other patents: Emergency Artificial Intelligence Notification System and Method and Danger Next to Me.
Right after the tragedy at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School, Dimitry realized that there needed to be instant communication between school leadership, students, law enforcement and fire rescue, and he and his team immediately went to work to build FrandMe Law Enforcement. Today, police departments around South Florida are using FrandMe Law Enforcement to provide instant communications between their departments and other law enforcement departments.
